Concert tickets
It is essential that we play to a full house every concert. Please do all you can to ensure as many of your friends and family are aware of the concert and urge them to buy tickets in advance rather than at the door. A full house is not only a more rewarding experience for the orchestra, but enables funding of future concerts through ticket and bar sales. Send them a link to our website, or download this term's flyer below and email it to your friends.
Orchestral music parts
Please remember not to take any original music parts away with you when you leave orchestra unless you know can make the following rehearsal – and be on time. If you have taken an original part, you must return it to orchestra for rehearsal, whether you are able to attend yourself or not. The only exception to this rule would be if you have made prior arrangements with your section leader, desk partner or Conductor; or if you know for a fact your part will not be needed. If you do take music away, please remember to sign in (and out) the music on the sheet which is located on the font in our rehearsal venue St Mary's Church every rehearsal. Speak to Mario Basilisco (Leader) if you have any issues with lending.
PRACTICE PARTS
If you would like to practise your part and are not able/don't want to take the original part away from orchestra you can download parts for free from IMSLP (the International Music Score Library project). String players please note this obviously would not include any specific bowings, however.
