If you have enjoyed attending one of our concerts you may feel that you wish to provide some support in appreciation of the musical contribution which we make to the community. Please consider joining our Friends of WSO group, where you can offer a minimum donation of £100 per year.

Your donation

Your donation goes initially towards our music hire fund, enabling us to rehearse and perform works which our tutors cannot otherwise take out on loan from London Borough or South-East County libraries. If you can give more than £100 the extra margin goes towards hiring specialist percussion (eg. a vibraphone) and on soloists’ fees.

In return for your generous donation you will receive:

  • 2 FREE tickets to each of our three main symphony concerts per year

  • Acknowledgements on our website and in our concert programmes

  • Grateful thanks and appreciation from WSO and your friends and family!

Terms and conditions

The orchestra’s normal cycle of symphony concerts is March, June, and end-November/early December. Please note that any Christmas event in mid-December and any other performance that WSO might give outside it’s normal cycle of symphony concerts in Putney and Earlsfield are excluded from this offer.
